Why recalibrate your windshield?
If your vehicle is fitted with an ADAS system (Advanced Driving Assistance System) you will have a camera fitted to the inside of the windshield. This camera is forward-facing and looks at the dotted lines on the highway as well as vehicles in close proximity.
The camera is attached to a bracket that is fitted to the inside of the windshield and should that bracket be just 1 degree out that would equate to almost 20 feet on the highway.
If that were to occur, then that potentially could steer your car into oncoming traffic or even steer your vehicle off the highway.
